Just after I found out that I was accepted into the Art Institute of Seattle for the Fall Quarter of this year, I was working at a shellfish hatchery for 3 years which was my home away from home. I had to work on a portfolio project to get accepted into the Game Art and Design program, so I wanted to draw this scene that I had grown to know and love during my hears working with baby oysters, clams, and muscles and cleaning these enormous tanks.
Done in pen and ink, “colored” with Faber Castell grey scale brush pens (Thanks Teresa!!) and graphite. August-Sept 2009
