Feature - "Just Hanging On"

I just want to say a big Thank You to BigD, Cora and Kathy from the Canon DSLR group…

And also take this oppurtunity to thank those that take the time to comment on my work… I feel a great sense of encouragement and support from you all…

Some one get me down from the roof, because that’s what it felt like to have the honour of being featured…

My First Feature

What a way to start the day (Wed 21/01/09). I logged onto RedBubble as I do each time I turn my computer on after checking new work on returning to my bubble page I found I had my first feature.

Chain chain chain was featured in Old & Rusty. A big thank you to the Hosts Robert Jenner and Sprinkla.

Woohoo I've been tagged

I might not have had the success/privillage of being featured in any group yet but I have been tagged by the group photography 101.
Not 1 but 3 of my photo’s
Landscapes – scapes
Angels Kisses – openaperture
Hard at Work – macro, nature and thirds.

All I need now is to know how to view a history in photoshop to get the edit details to put up for Angel Kisses and Hard at Work. Please feel free to bubblemail me as to how I do this. When I open the photo up in ps history only states open in the history window.

I couldn’t help but feel sad about the sensless killing by the council of the ladybugs at Steve Chapple’s “Secret Location”.…

So I did a quick research and found the following:

The ladybug, commonly called the Asian lady beetle is a pest as well as a beneficial insect.
They are really only a pest by their presence.
Ladybugs do not feed on or damage anything in the home.
Ladybugs do not carry diseases or sting, nor can they breed indoors.
However, when large numbers of them take up residence in a home, they will crawl all over the walls, windows, light fixtures and any other surfaces.

I wish we ’re all so lucky to have a location like Steve……..

My question would be why didn’t they try the following, before taking such a drastic action…

Mechanical means of exclusion:
Sealing ladybugs out by
