This Scottish themed card features a photograph of a pot of purple heather with a sprinkling of autumn leaves. I photographed it in the garage driveway of a house in in Dunkeld, Scotland. Above the heather are the words from the first line of a Jacobite song written by Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet, in 1792: Here’s a health to them that’s awa. The words are patterned with the same heather and the photograph is also framed with heather. The card would be ideal for Scots to keep in touch with friends and family living abroad, or to wish someone good health or a safe trip.
