Greetings!
I create bold, elegant patterns by sculpting paper using scissors and occasionally a knife. The medium and unconstrained process – I do not use templates or draw on the paper – offer unlimited explorations of symmetry and serendipitous discoveries of novel forms and shapes.

I am a computer scientist by training; the free, exploratory nature of paper cutting provides an interesting contrast from often rigid and deterministic world of computer programming. I have digitized some of my paper cuttings and made them available here.
