Cleaning Up My Profile and Archiving Past Features and Awards

I read this great article by Janis Zobrech called Is Your Profile Attracting Viewers? Her wise words have inspired me to clean up my profile page before 2013 rolls around.…

However, in the spirit of documenting my history here are RedBubble, I am archiving in this journal my collection of news, awards, features and announcements from my profile page.

August Features from the Groups I Host

Group messages haven’t been receiving as much response as in previous months.
I am suspecting that with so many messages around the bubble, some of them are going unnoticed.

So, here’s a list of where to find the August features and August Permanent Feature Galleries in the groups I host.

The images are all clickable, so can easiy stopl by to leave comments or add some to your favorites.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Featured artists in Three Groups

With the new Red Bubble changes, some have said they are not finding messages from the groups unless they remember to specifically look each day.

So, I thought I would use a journal to point out some new features for three groups in which I am a host.

  1. Click here to see the 2012 Feature Permanent Feature Gallery for Wild Horses of the World.
  1. Click here to see the July 2012 Permanent Feature Gallery for A Place to Start.
  1. Click here to see the July 2012 Permanent Feature Gallery for Bees, Butterflies, Etc.

Hope you enjoy seeing the works by these enthusiastic and talented artists.
Thank you especially if you take time to leave comments for them.

Have a great week!
Hugs to all.

Free e-book or Kindle Book, and New Project Eden story!

I always like reading a new book and discovering that it’s GOOD.
I especially like finding a new good series.…

Well, in case you haven’t found this series yet, I thought I would share it.

Brett Battles writes the Project Eden series. His newest book, PALE HORSE, just came out this week.

The best news is that the start of the series, SICK, is free today through Thursday (June 21, 2012).

You can read more details on Brett’s News and Notes.

Or click here to find the link to the free book at Amazon.com.

NOTE: Even if you don’t have a Kindle, Amazon has a free app that lets you read Kindle books right on your computer.

I’ve been reading Brett’s books since my brother suggested that I read THE CLEANER (the first in Brett’s Jonathon Quinn series). Brett was a friend in high school. California hom

Favor....Just a quick phone call or email today to help a condemned wild horse

UPDATE: 4-12-12
It worked! They have agreed to let rescue save the mare.
Stop calling. If you want, write a follow-up thank you email.…

Hope you can help…

I was wondering if you could make a quick phone call or post a quick email TODAY to ask the director of the Whatcom Humane Society to reconsider putting down a 12-year old wild mustang that they have determined to be “unsound of mind” (wild), and a liability risk so they won’t adopt her out.

Please ask Laura Clark to:
1. Reconsider putting the mare down.
2. Allow someone from Leslie ’Peeple’s group to evaluate and rescue the mare, even if liability releases are required. (I have been told they have the contact info for Leslie Peeple’s group.)

Contact info is:

Bragging on my hometown a bit, and asking a little favor...

FREE FOR A SHORT TIME: BECOMING QUINN
(Written by a friend from my hometown.)…

My hometown is rather small. This gives most of us who hail from there a feeling of knowing everyone in the area. While this feeling of knowing everyone might not be strictly accurate, when a local boy, “makes good”, I believe we all take pride in the accomplishments.

This is definitely the case with Brett Battles, a prolific mystery and adventure writer from my hometown. Battles has written several successful series:
Jonathon Quinn (THE CLEANER, THE DECEIVED, SHADOW OF BETRAYAL, THE SILENCED), Project Eden (SICK, EXIT NINE), and Logan Harper (LITTLE GIRL GONE and EVERY PRECIOUS THING). Plus, I must not forget to mention some excellent stand-alone books (NO RETURN and PULL OF GRAVITY) and youth books (HERE COMES
