William Wordsworth , a poet renowned, loved Nature and spent a lot of time in the garden at the back of his residence , The Dove Cottage.
He walked up these steps to a secluded garden seat , from where he’d look down at Lake Grasmere and the daffodils on its banks or up at the skies to see a lonely cloud wander by .
