Danielle Lucas

I'm a New Zealand artist, photographer and writer. I paint with inspiration from historic nudes, while using vivid gem colours and aspects of impressionism and abstraction to make something entirely unique. This pays homage to both my sexuality & nationality, while challenging the idea that all nudity is inherently sexual in nature. I'm very interested in portraying fantasy, nature, and lesbian & queer culture.
