Actually, the Flakturm used to have eight 128mm Guns atop its roof, as well as assorted smaller 20mm versions. The roof gives this away as nothing more than a factory, but I loved the imposing nature of it. And its the closest we’ll get in australia to a Flugabwehrkanone. lol
You are not wrong mate. They were a city unto themselves. They could house 20,000 people if neand did during the last months of the War. Curiosly enough, they were almost always asked to surrender because they proved to hard a nut to crack even for the russian 205mm Howitzer.
