In memory.........

I never realized how much of an influence a dear lady had been to my life until I read her obituary in our local paper today. I had her for a teacher in high school and never appreciated her wisdom at that time. Then, when I had children of my own, she had changed to teaching elementary and my children were blessed to have her in grade 1. They could not have had a better start in their education. When I read today that she passed away yesterday at only 62 years of age, it brought tears to my eyes that I never thanked her for her support and encouragement. So, even though it may be too late, I thank her now. Rest in peace, Mrs. Lord. You will be missed.
