Gaia - Mother

Cradled in the arms of the mother
A small blue ball, no one could touch.
She breathed life into the lifeless and created.
Her tears fell in tiny droplets splashing on the creation
Shifts in the creations form reflect her own pain.
Her anger shakes the creation cradled so gently in the hands of the mother.
Buckling and smudging the edges but the creation holds.
She caresses and cajoles, coos and coaxes the life of the creation
Wanting to bring the creation back to its origins
But is it too late? Has the mother lost control of her creation?
Cradled gently in the arms of the mother.
