Love in Arms

I don’t want to be known, unknown
I want to go unnoticed, live with miles to breathe
I want not to feel with a pounding heart
I want a yearn and a passion, like it use to
Come up in fable conversation, “let it be”.
I want the simplicity of burden, I want simple burden
I want the only thing that bothers to be
A rumbling stomach and a grazed knee

I want me to be me, without the jitter and in control with you at my side to fill in this hole.

What I want is what I get. I want, it took, I take back. I want and I will have and I will get better again. I will cope with chin high, stare down this devil and say goodbye.

Take a trip down a windy path, to return to love in arms. I smile, because at least there is you. You, you keep me together. And I’ll get better, we’ll get better, together.

Rise and fall
Crash and burn
Once down one can only go,
up.
And with you at my side we’ll tackle the world.
