We went to the Ribble Valley a few weeks ago, firstly to go to the village of Ribchester (called Bremetenacum Veteranorum in Roman times) to watch a Roman re-enacment and then on to the Forest of Bowland. Whilst driving through the forest of Bowland we stopped at this viewpoint, I have never seen my county of Lancashire looking better!!
