A few weeks ago I went to the Lake District with a few friends to walk in the hills above a town called Grasmere. Half way up a 2500 foot hill (called High Raise) we reached the snow line, for the next few hours we walked through snow fields. This is a view of a cairn that is near High Raise the snow covered hill in the far distance is Skiddaw, below it is a town called Keswick and the Lake to the left in the distance is Bassenthwaite, in summer Ospreys nest there.
