Looking For Love

Looking for love,
In all the wrong places.
Looking for love,
In strangers faces.

Don’t you know yet,
It only fills for a time.
Can’t buy the love you need,
For only a dime.

You want to be accepted,
For who you are.
Won’t find acceptance,
In the corner bar.

The lonely nights,
The unshed tears.
All alone,
With the darkness and fears.

Loneliness gnawing,
At your inner soul.
An empty life,
A great gaping hole.

There is only one,
Who can fill that gap.
There’s so much love for you,
Like an overflowing tap.

He cares for you so much,
As deep as the ocean.
He’s not hard to find,
Don’t need no magic potion.

Pray to your Heavenly Father,
Ask forgiveness for your sin.
Throw that door wide open,
And invite your Savior in.
