Am I Sailing? Am I Drifting?

On a hot summer day
(Not as hot as Bombay)
The horses will neigh
The children will play
No-one on a school Hallway
Not due to doomsday
But to the break of education
Hooray
Although this poem is quite emote
There’s a man on a boat
Wondering…

Am I sailing?
Am I drifting?

On a breezy day of autumn
With school’s a tiresome
Life becomes like a steady rhythm
Ba bum ba bum ba bum
Although life seems glum
Frowns are seldom
There’s a peaceful low volume
And leaves of the trees make earth a kingdom
I shall bring back an old quote:
There’s a man on a boat
Wondering…

Am I sailing?
Am I drifting?

On a brisk day of winter
Snow covers the acre
A beauty to capture
With a smell of cedar
Teeth start to chatter
(A sound like “clatter”)
Everyone beholds beautiful character
And the fire place starts to flicker
Repeating a phrase isn’t worse than a garrote
There’s a man on a boat
Wondering…

Am I sailing?
Am I drifting?

Spring will be exhumed
It’s when things bloom
So you get a flowery fume
At least that’s what I assume
Pollen is around so you’ll need a broom
Have a feast that you will quickly consume
That feast should include a legume
And lastly a beautiful mushroom
Again I promote
There’s a man on a boat
Wondering

Am I sailing?
Am I drifting?

Am I Sailing? Am I Drifting?

Um. Talk about poetic license. I wrote this poem after I wrote the title.
