Artist's Description

©Seth F. Weaver, Sr. 02/11/10. This work was inspired by one of my favorite quotes by Nicola Machiavelli from his work “The Prince.” It certainly is a true statement when it come to politicians in America, where campaign promises are discarded for special interests and their own greed and corruption. This picture shows a man with a shattered soul being consumed by the corruption around him. Always trying to grab the big money that is just out of his reach, twisted and distorted by his life, his job, and his hidden agenda for power. He is faceless because this is not the man that he once was, but a shell of a human being thinking only of himself and not the thousands of people who once believed and trusted him who he represents. A Compullage™ creation.
