The Book of Lillith - Chapter 1, Verses 99 - 132

and YOU!
who would demand
the created equal kneel
at your sprawling feet

scalding words
spurious pledges
rotted Desire
mangled Trust
left Affection in dust
at your sprawling feet

impossible mating to this
life in a garden of stilled
streams of dreams ending
at your sprawling feet

raging prayers
humiliated pleas
fury’s Curse
power’s Name
freed from Chains
at your sprawling feet

and I!
who now call down
scourge twixt the sexes
faults
at your sprawling feet

Artist's Description

More of the Lillith saga … this is when she decides to leave and curse Adam for his arrogant demands for her submission and total compliance with his whims. Personally, I think his behavior would be the original sin, and when Lillith left, the best part of him went with her.

Again, technical work needed on this. smiles
