Artist's Description

Taken at The Museum of Flight in East fortune in Scotland on 26/9/10 at the Magnificent Machines event. The picture was taken using my canon eos rebel t1i (500d) dslr 18-55mm lens at 18mm using an aperture setting 10 with a shutter speed of 1/100 and an iso setting of 100. I then took the raw file and went +/- stops. the files were merged and tone mapped in Photomatix pro 3.2 to create the hdr image and then I adjusted the levels in adobe photoshop cs4. During The Magnificent Machines event there are a few parades around the site – the smokey effect is from the traction engines that went past before the scooters. This shot reminds me of something from Quadrophenia
