It’s so important to do isn’t it. It’s funny how many times I find myself holding my breath in times of stress and hardship, when what I should really be doing is just remembering to breathe.
This is one of my personal favourite things to say to myself, and it’s always followed by one of those deliciously long, deep inhale/exhale yogic types breaths……. and then another….. and another.

I’m always a little surprised to see that I’ve had a large number of views of this piece since I uploaded it (in May of 2009). This is a somewhat awkward thing since I’m such an introvert in face-to-face situations. The idea of thousands of people looking at me is terrifying.
However, I think, for this one, it’s more about the idea. People seem able to relate to that feeling of closing their eyes and breathing away the stress.
