Artist's Description

One of the great rivers of the United States, has it origins in the Great Plains of North America. The Missouri River starts in Montana, goes across North Dakota until its mid-point where it turns south to bisect the State of South Dakota. At Pickstown, it turns east to form the border between South Dakota and Nebraska. This is below the Fort Randall Dam. This was taken around noon time facing south into the sun.
