My Snapshot:

From a young age, I have been drawn to photography. I remember taking my first photo when I was five or six years old. I loved the weight of the camera in my hands and the feeling of capturing a moment, an expression, or landscape in my own unique way so that I could remember it years later.

I cannot help but get slightly defensive when people talk down photography as a form of art. Place a box of photographs or even a yearbook in front of me, and I will be distracted for hours. To me, there is beauty and complexity even within a simple photograph, and I find it intriguing to get into the mind of a photographer—to see the same world I live in coloured and angled in unexpected ways.

Since I rarely print out photos anymore and it is so easy to store away thousands of photos on my desktop, I thought I would start using Redbubble to share some of the moments I have captured. I really enjoy being a part of this photography community and am inspired by your photos, experiences, and comments. Keep clicking, documenting, and sharing :)
