Erik grew up in Pittsburgh where he began painting and drawing portraits, wildlife, and sports stars at a young age. He specializes in contemporary realism focusing on landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, pet portraits, but will paint just about anything that interests him. Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Edward Hopper, Ned Smith, and N. C. Wyeth are among his many inspirations.
