Turn Off Sigh Bull The Cyber Bully

Turn Off Sigh Bull The Cyber Bully

It is easy to say
Don’t let it get to you
Only words said today
From it doesn’t matter who

Hurtful jealousy and spite
Trying to undermine your peace
Witless words a cowards fight
That aim to give no release

It is easy to hide your face
Anonymous behind a computer screen
The phantom stalker in cyber space
Madness meant to make you scream

See the coward weak and alone
Whatever it says just a word
Trying to invade your mind your home
A cowards insult read and not heard

Shut them out of your mind and thought
Pity them for the troubled souls they are
Devoid of love and respect that should have been taught
Words can harm from near or from afar

A child may not see the reason behind
The attack on them with hurtful senseless words
Even an adult to motive can be also blind
Hurtful thought uttered deadlier than swords

Throw what ever is said to the fire
Laugh at their sad need to attack
See their minds an ill evil mire
The cyber bullys’ mind and thought lack

Throw back their words said sad hate
Ask what is behind their hurtful need
Do they attack rejected love to berate
Or they too the victim of anothers’ twisted greed

Don’t let anothers’ words drive you mad
No matter what yesterdays maybe known
20,000 tomorrows will not all turn out bad
The cyber bullys’ words are not your own

Know no-one can ever know the real you
And you are the only person that you will be
Anothers’ words will never be heard as true
Listen to your own love and be free.

Artist's Description

More children suiciding because of Cyber Bullying and online preditors. A young girl suicided in Victoria, Australia the day before I wrote this. Facebook and Myspace, are given as the reason. I don’t know how to respond or even know if I should. Computers were not in the home when I was young. It seems that children need to know that words are words and no- one knows you and whatever someone says doesn’t matter……yet it does…
I sent this to Julia Gillard, deputy prime minister and Education Minister, and said she could use it, but she never got back to me or even acknowledged receipt; so I wrote again and withdraw the offer.. I still haven’t got an acknowledgement for the first or last email
