Dangerous Driving by the Police

Come on mate
Your doing all right
You can sleep in late
And party all night

You’re getting the pension
I don’t see why you complain
I know you did mention
That you are in a bit of pain

Just take another tablet
I’m sure it will make it better
It might help you forget
We just ripped up your letter

It’s not that it wasn’t read
We just didn’t want to answer
Better to give it a shred
It’s not as if we gave you cancer

I know they didn’t charge you
But we had nothing to charge you for
To many witnesses to
Us putting you handcuffed on the van floor

I know it must have upset you when
They sped and threw you around every corner
We know we broke your neck then
Think yourself lucky it didn’t have to be addressed by the coroner

The officer is sorry mate
He didn’t mean to break your neck
You say you did make a complaint
Must have been shredded what the heck

So what of you wrote to the Minister
The ESD, OPI and the Commissioner
I know it all sounds a bit sinister
But no-one wanted to upset the Officer

You say you spoke to a solicitor or two
And none of them wanted to assist
They couldn’t act against who
They do work for that’s the gist

Don’t go writing anymore letters
They’ll end up the same as the rest
Don’t go including the other matters
Just shut up that would be best

You know if anyone writes to you
We’ll have them opened like before
We have friends in the post too
It might not even reach your door

So just take another tablet
You know we can’t understand a word you say
Just take something to help you forget
Before we take more than you daughter away.

Artist's Description

refer to my Poem ESD Grows a OPI
LINK , and picture titled " A Picture of Paranoid Schizophrenia Link
I had a prolapsed disc from a motor vehicle accident 23 / 01 / 1975. No real issue, I continued to play football, soccer, squash, and swim, with no pain. On 11 October 1998, I was leaving my sisters house after a party and the police were across the road, they called us all together and started chatting to everyone, but did not address me. So I walked off. I was followed by an officer. I told him I was going home, you know who I am, if theres an issue see me tomorrow, and walked off. He jumped on my back and handcuffed me and placed me on the floor of the police van. He drove at high speed to Bendigo 45 miles away, thowing the van around every corner and round about, and throwing me from one side of the steel covered van to the other. When we arrived I was covered in vomit and pissing blood. I was not charged for anything, I was released 24 hours later.
I have since lodged complaints both on the phone and in writing. I have approached solicitors. As I am on a pension for a psych condition, I have no money and every probono solicitor I have seen has said that because they do work for the police at times they can’t help me.
I have spoken with my MLA writen more letter to many and various.
They further injured my neck to the point of having to see a specialist, who after me putting off the operation twice, fussed three vertebra on the 5th of March last year.

I am told if I mention the officers name I will be sued. My MLA, like all politicians is no helper.

The police say they have no record of the instance. I have my health file with the report from the psych hospital they took me too, which gives the date and time, and confirms the Police delivered me there in a divisional van.

Such is the law in this country.

No I do not want a franchise to sell canabis.
