Artist's Description

This 10-meter’ bronze statue (painted in white) was built in 1908 and is the patron saint of Lebanon, and is erected on top of a hill in Harissa, north of Beirut.

The statue itself sits on top of a 20-meter spiral-shaped stone base and overlooks the Bay of Jounieh, which is considered one of the world’s most beautiful scenes.
