I´m still here

Remember I’m still here with you
I never left to skies so blue
So please don’t feel you’re all alone
I’m still with you, here at home

I can hear each word you say to me
And I watch you pour them cups of tea
When there are guests, I say hello
And goodbye as I watch them go

When Christmas comes, put up the tree
Be happy but not sad for me
For I´ll be with you every day
As I never really went away

I´m still here

Artist's Description

This is another poem about my Grandad. I´m writing as though I´m him speaking to my Grandmother. Even though he passed away I believe his soul is still here with us.

I do not believe in death. The body cannot go on for ever but the soul can. The love my Grandmother and Grandad shared is still there, even if he physically isn´t.
