Artist's Description

I made this for my Nan for her Christmas present 2010 (something to do before I start Uni).

The model features us both sitting in her dining room, having a natter and drinking tea (though I’m more of a coffee girl).

On the table are plates of doughnuts and cup cakes (which I made out of fimo), and on the wall is a photograph of her and Grandad (who sadly passed away a couple of years ago). On the windowsill are photographs of her family (including me and my cousins when we were small). The window looks out at a photograph of her garden- her pride and joy.

The model has a light fitting (batteries can be changed at the back of the roof).

The materials I used were: fabric, fimo modelling clay, acrylic paint, paper, card, tissue paper, bostik all purpose glue, mirror, etc…

I am happy to undertake commissions if anyone would like me to make them/ loved one a personalised model.
