Artist's Description

Inspired by “One thing leads to another…”

December, 2010

Shortly after I’d uploaded one of my previous Nautical designs; my dear friend Tanya N & I were discussing Jed Swindells incredible Bryce Tall Ship Models, during which she mentioned seeing the real HMS Victory.
Curiosity piqued, I wrote to Jed, and yes, he’d built such a model; but it was “off the market as a favor to another friend of his.”

So I regretfully wrote back to Tanya. The next thing I know is we ended up:

“A Sazzart & Tanya N collaboration.

I found the model, stuck it in a basic background in Bryce and sent it to Sazz who tweaked it, rendered it and voila!

Vice Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson’s Flagship, HMS Victory, Bryce Obps courtesy Public Domain, used under Fair Use Doctrine Act.

Inspired by my visit to the real thing in Portsmouths Historic Dockyard. It’s well worth a visit if you are in the area. A totally awesome ship with so much history.

Made with Bryce 7 Pro and Daz"
