Wisdom teeth

Bite my tongue
till the puss and mucus
burst in my mouth
Huge overgrown teeth
from neanderthalensis
bury in my flesh
stress upon stress
I don’t need you
to blight my sight
I don’t need you
to blight my day
Ten years of growing
they still don’t fit
My face aches
my jaw clenches
I bury you like dead seeds
in the garden
Never to grow
never to bring me simple joy
I bury you all
one by one
until there is nothing left to hate
I soar
above the clouds
where I belong
I’ll get these bastards
pulled from my face
I don’t need them anymore
they are poison to my heart
She has arisen
and you
are not in it
I am wise
You are fools
and these clouds
don’t hold
your rain
