UPDATE 22 Dec: Many train enthusiasts pointed out that the side of the Fruit Express car was most likely yellow, so I have updated the photo to reflect that! The signal light on the ship is also a correct starboard green, instead of red!

__

A sunny afternoon by the docks in New Orleans, day labourers bring bananas down from the ship into a train carriage which will carry them to a city somewhere in USA. The ship has sailed from somewhere in Latin America where workers have cut the bananas down some weeks previously. Some discarded banana peels on the ground shows the workers have eaten some of them. Perhaps the rule was, if it’s ripe, eat it?
