Artist's Description

Shot in Laurens County, GA, edited in Photoshop 7 (the only version I love).

This started out as as silhouette photo that I got a little to creative with and my models (Danni Dover & Cliff) love it and think it would look awesome produced as a sun-catcher.

Also going to be available as a sticker eventually.

Honestly I can’t explain exactly how I ended up with this. It was a silhouette that was good, but wasn’t great and there wasn’t much help for it. So I started playing with it out of boredom and being tired of editing photos (had already edited 30+ from that shoot and many in multiple styles…so yeah, burnt out lol).

All I know is I rotated it because the original shot was taken on a “typical MySpace self-portrait like” angle (can’t even remember why I did that, knew it would would horrible lol) so that they were perfectly vertical, then cropped it into a perfect square.

Adjusted the curves a bit to darken up the whole image. Changed the saturation to a little more saturated than it should have been. Then played with layer properties and this is what resulted. I know it had to do with either texture or contours, but don’t remember which one, nor do I remember the settings for the “look” I finally decided on.

It was late at night and I had been editing photos for over 6 hours already and didn’t plan on even showing this one to them, but I did and they loved it, so here it is in all it’s overly edited, late night, half brain dead, odd creative mood glory.
