Whilst out on a shoot with fellow Bubbler Irene Burdell recently, we went to Downham Village, Lancashire, England, UK, in the sheeting rain. It was absolutely pouring down and we got wet through.
The light was bad, and I had trouble with spots of rain on my lens.
This is my second attempt of layering and my first attempt at HDR. The sky in the original image was very dull and boring, and because of the light, the cottages weren’t showing their full potential. A lot of cloning was done to get rid of unsightly cars… In all, due to my lack of experience treating this image has taken me four and a half hours to complete.
Sony 18-70mm kit lens.
1 x original plus 3 copies converted to HDR and tonemapped in HDR Dynamic.
