Artist's Description

We have an old bush of Redcurrants in our garden. We planted this bush more than 20 years ago and now we have to stabilize it with wooden sticks, because the berries are getting too heavy for the branches.
This is how it looks in July. First the bush is full of small flowers. Next step is small sour, green berries. Then they turn red in a transparent way. And now these berries are ready for making nice lemonade. This is very popular, because it tastes much better than the stuff you can buy, so I hardly get any of it myself. But that’s OK, as long as it makes other people happy.
The garden gate was made by a friend of us, many years ago, so we might ask him to help do a new one at some point.
