A little red Fungi found after the heavy rain at Croajingolong National Park. Very small but bright and mostly in clumps. I think the little white ones near it (in this case on the left) were the juvenile of the variety. I have no idea what they are..they were beautiful though.
If you can tell me what it is, I would appreciate it :))
Moist forested areas
The bright red cap of this mushroom is about 2 cm diameter, initially convex, it flattens as it matures, so that the centre is depressed, margins are striate. The gills are paler than the cap. Stem to 4 cm long, slender to 0.5 cm wide, sticky or slimy when wet as is the cap. Usually found in small groups attached to wood with some whitish mycelium at base.
