To get a cloud bank like this , to have it in the positions above the lake, throw in sunset colours…. what else could you ask for ?
Narrabeen Lakes is about 30 klms north of the Sydney CBD, it’s a great spot early morning.
Still waters add light and clouds = great reflections
Technique :HDR 35 Exposures (Handheld) shot in segments of 5 Exposures, each segment of 5 exposures tonemapped in Photomatix 3.26m to produce 7 8bit tiff files. Each Tiff file measures 120 megabytes , the 7 tiff files then merged in Photoshop Elements to form One 1.3gb panoramic tiff file.
This image was then cropped, sharpened then saved as a Tiff file and a jpeg version
