Artist's Description

The Salem Baptist Chapel in Rendezvous St, Folkestone, Kent, UK

Built in 1873 by Joseph Gardner a local architect with a balcony all round and a basement.

Since 2003 it has been the Samuel Peto Public House part of the Wetherspoon chain which at least has given life to this lovely building.

Sir Samuel Morton Peto, 1st Baronet (4 August 1809 – 13 November 1889) was an English entrepreneur and civil engineer and among other projects his company built Nelson Column in 1843 and the South Eastern and London Chatham and Dover railways.

5 exposure HDR from single RAW file shot on a Canon EOS1000D and processed in PS8.
