The Church of St Thomas Becket at Fairfield, Kent, UK.
The church has been rebuilt on at least four occasions each faithfully reproducing the interior wattle and daub structure. When last rebuilt on 1930 it was encased in brick to preserve it.
The church lies on the upper limits of the Romney Marsh and is only approachable on a causeway constructed in the 1960’s before which it could, for most of the year, only be reached by boat when the marshes flooded.
