Tunnel Vision.

It’s too late.

In a dirty, dirty time
when fear reigns and diapers hang on empty clothes lines
whilst creepy swing-sets fall to pieces in the nuclear afternoon.
Balls of molecules crawl down faces where tears once ran before.
Souls scream for an escape,
careening painfully around the desolate wasteland.
America fallen.
Brazen boiler room bravados brought us all to our bitter end.
Swanky selfish sluts and politicians poke fun at the peasants from their powerful, impact-proof glass windows, kept safe inside their black rolls royces and bentleys.
Where tears once exploded upon those windows,
at least for a minute,
pushed far and wide from the impact of the truth,
the grinning bastards light up a million dollar note and raise it to their hellish eyes – illuminating their once hidden desires that are too wickedly bright for our poor, painful eyes to focus on –
it hurts to even glance at the truth after so many years of darkness.

It’s too late.

The empty wasteland is far worse than any war zone -
(for in a warzone there is still hope for life, for peace; All life and peace has been sucked from this decrepit, depleted, deceased land. Just as oil can spark light and energy for mankind so can truth and peace – and they weren’t just sucking the oil from this land)
- this depleted home is dry, bent and malformed.
Souls wail throughout the emptiness,
doomed for eternity.

Hollow bitterness wells up in me as I realise that our lethargy has led to this eternal leprosy.
I know am doomed to reflect upon the fact that my knowledge of the truth is the only thing that has changed in my lifetime…

It was both the first and last change that would occur.

It was too late.

Tunnel Vision.
