Write! and be away with your constant whine
Write! and glitter your words like dew drops’ shine
Write! and let your heart – an ocean of prose -
sway gently the verse you wish to compose

“But failure befriends me and speaks of dread
treasures lay buried and remain unread”

Write! for you cannot lose where passion reigns
Write! for you cannot still the ink in your veins
Write! and let your soul – a classical song –
chant loudly the lyrics and sing a long

“How true your words, but so little I know
just what should I pen when thoughts do not grow”

Write! and be aware of your senses and mind
Write! and search within, the answers you’ll find
Write! and let your spirit – a plain of grass -
spread freely your sonnets for years to pass

“Fine rhymes you recite, my respect is high
but now, please tell me to whom I reply”

Well, don’t you know who you’re talking to?
It is I, my friend!
It’s me!
I am you!

“Oh”
