Artist's Description

These images come from the first roll of film I put through my toy kit pinhole camera.
I felt the blurred results had quite a painterly effect and I thought the elemental images could work as a dyptych.

Because of the style of the images I felt straight edges didn’t suit, so I painted a water colour edge into card, scanned it in and overlaid in in photoshop.

I used a supermarket branded 400 ISO colour negative film I found in the bottom of a drawer at home. Originally I thought the high ISO was a compromise, but I think the visible grain gives a nice texture.
