This tidal pool makes a great fishing spot for the local pelican population at Seal Rocks … taken during recent travels on my way north (I’d intended to overnight at Old Bar, but … !). What a rewarding diversion this turned out to be. The tiny settlement is one of the few remaining Northern coastal villages to have avoided major development. So isolated, pristine (brush turkeys roam the holiday park in droves!) and laid-back…not to mention beautiful. The access road is not even completely tarred yet.
