Artist's Description

A night photo of just a small part of my favorite statue seen with my own eyes, Trail Drive, which is located in downtown Dallas. I lived in Dallas for over 10 years before I just happened to be driving down the street in front of it, and, who could miss it being that close. It sits on a 4.2 acre park and was intended to include 70 cattle, but was stopped at 40. Still, it is a monumental structure, all portions of the statue being sized at 130% of life size. The creator of this statue is Robert Summers – who was raised and still lives in the town where I currently live (and I only say that knowing that Susan and I will be changing locations by a few miles sometime in the next couple of years).

It is said to be the best known and photographed landmark in Dallas, _although I doubt that to be accurate, having lived there.
