A slightly less cliched view of Sydney city across the harbour as seen from a newly restored piece of land on Waverton Peninsula. The land, once home to a BP oil refinery, built in 1923, was handed over to the local council in 2003 and despite hopes to have the park finished by the end of that year, it was finally opened to the public around March 2005.

i love it. the colours are so beautiful and i can’t believe how flat the harbour is!
Gorgeous ! love the length of the coloured reflections on the water !
Amazing how far across the water the colour reflections go. Makes it different from your standard cityscape. Great find.
Nice work! I have never been to Sydney.. I really hope to experience this some day. Especially after seeing all the wonderful photos from there. Great job!
