Artist's Description

The ancient clapper bridge at Postbridge in the heart of Dartmoor is believed to date back to the early thirteenth century, it spans the East Dart river and is just over 42 feet wide. The massive flat granite slabs are believed to weigh up to eight tons and it’s certainly high on the MUST VISIT list for most visitors to the moor.
