A Name

Into this world I came,

with nothing, not even a name.
The cloths they put on my back,
came from rags and burlap sacks.

They gave me a place to grow and have fun,
then said “take these cloths”, and gave me a gun.
So I went and I fought,
for that is what I was taught!

I came back to this country of mine,
so free, so beautiful, so fine.
The people, they spit on me, called me a slob,
hell, I couldn’t even get a job.

So when the time comes,
I’ll leave the same.
No Cloth, No Country,
Not Even A Name……..
