I am Chaos

I am chaos

atoms split

a dandelion seeded head

blown to four corners

on the gyroscopic breeze

seemingly aimless

within the surrounding

skin and boned wall

still held together

despite crumbling mortar

through brick built determination

and a four leaved clover’s worth of luck.

whispering promises of order

circadian rhythm

eyes as fresh as laundered cotton sheets

and sleep like a baby

hushed, warm and sweet

nestled safe in a mother’s harbour

a breast

to rest steady

shape the abstraction

discharged from bedlam

ordered consciousness

I am Chaos
