As we were packing up camp at our last campout in September, Shaun asked me to take a photo for him because he had already packed his camera and equipment away. It was so bright out that I couldn’t really tell what it was that I was photographing. I just set the camera down on this rock and clicked. I didn’t realize what I had until I loaded the images on my computer.
I normally prefer to let animals have their privacy, when it comes to nature’s call, but I loved the expression of this grasshopper’s face. He seems to be thinking, “Do you mind?!”
