I went down to take pictures of The Old Steel Bridge while the Flathead River was at flood stage and caught these teenagers trying to climb the girders. Access to the bridge has been cut off on both sides, even to foot traffic, because of the holes that you can see and the rotten wood that is just waiting to cave in. These boys had to hike down to the river to climb up to the bridge. Fortunately, they climbed down when they saw me taking pictures.
The Flathead River is always dangerous during Spring runoff, but especially so when it’s flooding. Several people have drowned in it over the years. I’m uploading this for the Idiots challenge in the Freedom in Words & Art group.
