This is one of the many beautiful Victorian homes found in Port Townsend, Washington (USA). This historic port is located where Puget Sound meets the Juan de Fuca Strait. A large portion of the town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including this one, which dates back to the 19th century.
You can see the “widow’s walk” at the top of this home. These were built so the wives could watch for their husband’s ship returning from sea.
Photo taken in October, 2010 with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS camera. I used a graduated filter to give the sky some color, since it was drizzly the entire time that we were there.
