It’s very unusual to see a wolf spider overpowering a hobo spider. I’m normally hate looking at spiders, but this is such a beautiful composition that I can’t take my eyes off it.

I was out fishing with a friend of mine, when I saw this wolf spider run out from underneath a rock, carrying this larger and more dangerous hobo spider. The hobo spider was clearly immobilized, either dead or paralyzed.
